The fit is a little rough for me. I'm tall, about 73 inches, and I feel like the bike is small. I've ridden a few dozen miles to include a trip with a kids trailer towed behind, and it hasn't been really uncomfortable, but a little cramped compared to my Schwinn Trailway 28"/700c hybrid bike. Seat adjusts up but feels tilted back a little more than I would like. I have ridden in shorts and tshirt to the beach as well as khakis and a button up with backpack to work, ok comfort both ways. Perhaps it will just take some time to get used to.
Yep, there’s no getting away from the fact that i’m peddling a 21kg bike when the assist is switched off but with the massive battery & range there is no real need to switch it off, I can barely turn the pedals on a normal bike when i hit a hill so if i’m on the road and wanting as much range as possible to explore a few of the surrounding trails in my area of Galloway i’m quite happy using the eco mode to get myself around, the tour mode gives a bit more assist and is enough to tackle the majority of single track climbs with effort from myself, the sport mode is enough for all but the steepest of singletrack use and the turbo mode is just batshit mental for all out super steep climbs and so much fun.

I have had my new e bike for about 5 weeks now and covered over 500 miles, it has been an absolute joy - you still get plenty of exercise but in a much more pleasant way than with an ordinary bike, it takes hills in its stride and the ride is very stable and inspires confidence even over rough country roads, the front suspension helps a lot in this respect also the bike is equipped with dual disk brakes. I have fitted mudguards back and front - I had to modify the stays on the front ones by making a right angle bend in them so that they could be attached to the forks, it has proved well worthwhile fitting the mudguards. I have used all assist levels and you can always step to a higher level if the need arises. I can highly recommend this bike and it is my opinion that it would be difficult to find a better e bike for the money - many more expensive machines offer less specification!

Firstly this is not a motorcycle. I bought this to use as a daily commuter.I now have 1000 + miles on it. The pedal assist works fine and may be ok for leisurely riding but I just use the throttle and pedal. This is a great bike. Strong frame and wheels. Been in two crashes and no damage. The tires are nice off road tires and now live on my daughters mountain bike. I switched them out for high pressure road tires. Forget about the horn and light. They don't work. I am 6'1" 32" inseam and had to buy a longer seatpost($30) to fit this frame. 13miles each way commute. Battery life is fine. After the 26 mile round trip it has a little juice left but not enough for another ride to work. I would buy again.

My wife has a Scott, essentially a Contessa with a Bosch crank motor. Very heavy thing, bloody hard work with no assistance, but even with assist on progress surely depends on your effort. We don’t do a lot of trail centres, but it’s been fine round Rothie, up to Einich, in Inshriach and up the Corbett behind Kingussie, as well as onroad. Lets us ride together, which would be harder without assist, and is heling her recover from skiing injuries.

I haven't given a full benchmark on battery life as I haven't gone without pedaling just using the motor. I live in a hilly place and I need to pedal to make it up some hills. But initial impressions are good. My hilly trip to the beach with kids in tow was about 13 miles round trip and I made it down to 3 of 5 bars on the battery. The battery does go down when the motor is under stress but levels itself when back on level ground. Battery is looking good.
Ancheer Electric Mountain Bike - Before this test we thought more travel on an e-bike would obviously be better. After all, with the motor flattening out the climbs, why not have the extra suspension firepower to smooth out the descents? Sounds reasonable, doesn’t it? But in the case of the Specialized Turbo Kenevo Expert, the extra travel and weight make the bike less effective and less engaging on all but full-on downhill tracks. And if that’s your bread and butter, the Kenevo could well be the perfect topping. Here in the UK though, the Vitus proved more versatile, just as capable and way better value.
I have the Ancheer Electric Mountain Bike tuning kit for my Bosch Performance CX motor but i’ve not bothered to fit it yet, before i got the bike i thought that Yeah!, fit the kit and go ride but i’m unsure now – after having the bike for a month i’m quite happy with it as it is, obviously the increased speed will reduce the distance i can travel due to using more battery power and i kinda like the ability to do decent distances/ride all day at the moment.
As I said before, going up hills might require some pedaling, but it is SO MUCH EASIER with the motor running. I feel like a higher voltage is used on level 3 pedal assist than can be gotten just using the hand turn, though. It takes a few pedals for the pedal assist to kick in which can be annoying, but it does save some battery on initial acceleration. You also have to be careful pedaling around to park the bike or at a street corner waiting for traffic because you DO NOT want the motor to kick in and send you into a workbench or worse ... oncoming traffic.
Merida has done an amazing job with the EOne-Sixty 900E. It has a fun, playfully ride quality that few ebikes can match, and the price is simply unbeatable. It’s also the only sub 50lb bike in this test, and that’s without a single strand of carbon. It could be even better though. With a two degree slacker head angle and a little more power from the Shimano motor the EOne-Sixty would be able to keep up on the climbs, only to drop the competition on every descent. The biggest issue though, is actually getting hold of one.
“The Ancheer Power Plus is a really nice e-bike.  It rides well and has lots of goodies including LED lights and a nice electric horn.  I like that it is pedal assist – all you have to do is set it to how much pedal assist you want and it does the rest without having to turn the throttle.  The only thing I found and maybe I’m missing something is that when the bike is folded there doesn’t appear to be a clasp which makes it difficult to carry.”
The extra grip a 50lb e-bike normally helps to prevent overshooting corners when on the brakes, and bring pure DH-bike-like fun factor on the steepest trails. This electric Orange, however, rides more like a ‘standard’ enduro bike with a motor, which could be good or bad, depending on your expectations and riding style. It’s built tough and delivers stacks of fun in less time than any regular bike can. Adding a motor hasn’t upset Orange’s superb geometry.
If you really want to see the future take a look at the Fazua Evation, with a battery and motor this system weighs an incredible 4.7kg! The battery only has 250wh, but at 1.3kg you could easily carry a spare in a pack. The really interesting thing about this system though, is the motor and the battery can be removed from the frame, so you really do have two bikes in one.

this is brick brick loves everything about mountain biking he lives in the world-famous riding destination of Squamish just to be closer to the trails and after only riding the Whistler Bike Park for years he realized that a bike that could pedal up would mean more access to trails and he likes nothing better than ripping down a nice flow trail [Music] but there's one thing that brig doesn't like and he's not the only one in order to get to these amazing girls you've got to earn your turns and well brick doesn't like that part now here's the thing brick isn't a lazy dude he works long hours at the dock on tugboats and in his spare time he's always hiking in the gym or just being in the outdoors so by the time it's time to ride he's already a hurting now this what it's like doing a climbing trail with brick especially when it's time to ride with me someone that rides regularly and doesn't have a problem going uphill when you're pedaling up with brigh with no warning he'll just jump straight off his bike and start walking already he's convinced that walking is just as fast as riding but I would argue that's not true do you think you can walk faster than you could bikers outdate you I mean right now it's not popping the truth technically speaking he has no problem getting out of tricky sections but when the legs start to burn he's off and he's walking again hi bud oh I'll jump in front for a bit the downside of all this is that when I or others start riding up we are often left waiting for brigh to catch up at the top all right this is very going to wait break Rosie yes we're going this way how you feeling now this isn't a video about how much better I am of pedaling up a hill compared to my buddy it's a video about looking at ways that would make it more fun and bike around a parking lot for about you know 30 to 45 seconds one time those dark wasn't wearing proper clothing don't even think I had a helmet on like any other shop demo they swapped over bricks pedals while he watched on and got him set up on the bike they set up the suspension and made sure brick knew what he was doing with the motor controls and then we would head up to a different area of Squamish and hit up a trail that's a little bit more technical than before gonna make you walking even easier the strap doesn't fit don't know much to do well there's no meant to be shut I guess there's no amendable show we headed up to do one of our favourite laps that would normally take us way longer than normal I'm sure you know what's about oh my god they say be careful what you wish for and I wish there pretty good pedal faster and now I'm gonna eat my words I feel I've never seen you go up this little climb damage now you're waiting for me how does that feel good I want to see if you can help me as well on a harness or shoulder if you can pull me along go back hey come back on the tow I was wondering what would happen on these wet and narrow bridges I mean probably hoping for some carnage but no he rode straight over them no problem this is the 50 shade how many times have you pedaled up there non-stop yeah okay just hook context this climb is a little steep and he would normally walk up the whole thing this made the whole ride take longer but now I have a rider that I can chase and pushes me to go faster up the hill but again you knew this would happen I knew this would happen what I wanted to find out was how Briggs felt about it it was obviously easier was it more was it more enjoyable you feel kinds of weird guilt or ever learn any bike no some people think it's cheating you're not racing there we go we were having more fun that's all we want to but what about the doubts will he be able to ride the same going down a trail as before we dropped into the black rated trail Rupert to find out the time Greg always walks out hahahaha cool we better use it and it's put it in boost mode and do rollercoaster yeah don't worry I'll film it yeah by this point he never wants to do rollercoaster which is awesome and by the way and there's a lot of time waiting at the bottom for him to catch up because it's such a Pedley trail no way over you its point this is something that annoys brick but here we are having a whale of a time now [Music] the demo was over break headed back to Republic to tell them how he got on like Paul and then anything above that is just like ridiculous it's I don't feel bad climb for me right you know I can climb not nearly as well as somebody like Paul so we go out riding on a pedal bike and you know it just blows me out of the water he's constantly waiting for me stopping and waiting and then you caught me on a bike there's just like these turns the tables now use waiting basically yeah it's really annoying good it's a little different like you know a couple times you went to pedal and I forgot that the bike was gonna give me power right so all the way down to are usually just an eco obviously any more than eco on the way down is just like you know even climbing I left it an eco most of the time I only bought the one bar battery down you know piggy buy one now you got 7,000 bucks you know what I have three bikes maybe I just sell them all on buy one yeah would you add video if I got top dollar for all three of my bikes got what I paid for them sure yeah it's just that he's just to find out into a thing money makes the world go round my friend fifteen hundred dollar bike work your bag off seven thousand dollar bike go and have a good time before I bought this bike I only had a downhill bike and I kind of felt left out you know Paul's a bike park it is limited yeah but with an e-bike it's like hey you want to ride to the top of the world I don't have to put the effort in there you go so if you factor in saving on some bike part yeah I never thought about that you don't need to tell me the e bikes is something that not everyone is found I'm up to speed with the land access issues that a problem for Americans and other mountain bike areas but for me and break this e bike could mean we could ride together and both of us would have the same amount of good times and probably go on more
